For the third year running, Sweet&Chilli worked with Merivale to manage their lavish annual party to reward and recognize the achievements of their staff empire in Australia. Taking over The Ivy, the group’s city venue was transformed into a golden palace, with an abundance of glitzy gold streamers and sparkles we provided a range of bespoke cocktail bar hire equipped with the best bartenders set to go over and above the hospitality giant’s expectations.
Originally a fashion house, Merivale, owned by the Hemmes family, has been established in Australia for 59 years. The Hemmes family are developing and operating pioneers within the hospitality industry, owning a growing portfolio of more than 60 restaurants, bars, pubs, hotels and function spaces in Sydney. Hand selecting over 120 staff working across two floors of the venue, 75 Sweet&Chilli bartenders worked endlessly to deliver on a whole host of drinks including Golden Delicious cocktails on arrival as well as Margaritas and Negronis into the night.
With over 2,000 attendees and musical entertainment from Furnace and The Fundamental, the partying went into the early hours, celebrating the success of over 10 million guests through their doors and a toast to the hard-working individuals and teams working in establishments such as Mr Wong, Coogee Pavilion, The Grand Hotel and Palmer &Co.
